| We are the Cub Scout Pack that meets at the Eanes Elementary Cafetorium, usually
on the third Thursday of each month. The Pack is composed of Tiger Dens (1st grade or 6 years old), Wolf Dens (2nd grade or 7 years old), Bear Dens (3rd grade or 8 years old), first year Webelos Dens (4th grade or 9 years old) and second year Webelos Dens (5th grade or 10 years old).
A boy can join for the first time at any age from age 6 and over or any grade from first to fifth. He will be placed in a den of similar age/grade boys. Dens are ideally composed of 6-10 boys, although the number can vary. Each Den has an adult Leader and an adult Assistant Leader. Leaders are usually a parent of one of the boys in the Den. Anyone meeting the National criteria can be a Leader and the Pack will provide all the training and assistance necessary to help new leaders with their programs. Besides Pack Meetings, which occur once a month, the Dens meet 2-4 times a month to work on advancement requirements, crafts, games, skit or program preparation or to take a field trip. Our Pack has won the National Quality Unit Award for the last four years in a row. Our goal is to provide a quality family program for the youth members and their parents to foster and encourage the ideals and values upon which the Boy Scout program is based. On our calendar is a list of events currently scheduled for the remainder of the year. The highlights of our program usually include: |
